The National Portrait Gallery (NPG) is home to the world’s largest collection of portraits from the Middle Ages to the present day.
NPG has undertaken a major new chapter in its history to greatly improve the building and facilities for future generations. The redevelopment gives them the opportunity to re-display the Collection, with new interpretations including multiple voices and hidden histories.
During the last 6 years, Voyager 360 has been working with NPG to document the building changes using survey grade scanning and high-resolution 360 images, resulting in architect drawings and interactive virtual tours.
The accuracy of these drawings and tours helped the design team and architects to plan and discuss the changes required for this major regeneration.
